Halo Proves its Worth

The Halo is a driver crash-protection system used in open-wheel racing series, which consists of a curved bar placed to protect the driver's head. Initially, the system was unpopular among fans and many in motorsport - even some drivers. However, with the recent high-profile incidents of Lewis Hamilton & Max Verstappen at Monza and also Romain Grosjean's crash in Bahrain, it is clear that the Halo has saved these drivers from certain injury, or worse.
