The Motorsport world has a range of brilliant people with unique ideas and concepts that could improve motorsport from a competitive, commercial, and most importantly, a safety perspective.
Getting a motorsport project or concept off the ground to a working prototype and finally adopted in the industry is a massive undertaking.
The Australian Institute for Motor Sport Safety and many ASNs in our region recognise there are many projects and concepts in the Asia Pacific that could make a difference if they could get an audience with the right people and maybe even a pathway to funding or technical assistance.
The AIMSS Motorsport Safety Summit will provide just the platform for some of these concepts and projects with our 'Pitch my Project' competition. The competition will allow four individuals/groups to pitch to a panel of motorsport experts their concept, product, or whatever they have that may be outside a concept or product.
The participants will receive feedback in a fun environment designed to give constructive feedback to help on the journey to marketisation. The winning project may also receive ongoing help along the way with their project.
We are targeting early-stage concepts and projects that are unfunded by venture capital or other external funding mechanisms. Your idea, concept, or project must be novel in some way and not exist in the not-for-profit or commercial motorsport industry. Ideally, your project is geared toward improving sustainability, safety, or another novel way to enhance motorsport.
Applications for Speedcafe.com Pitch my Project are now closed. Thank you to all applicants.
